NineTen is a place where freshmen and sophomores in high school build healthy relationships with Jesus alongside one another and Christ-like young adults. We are a community of people that desire to be with Jesus and become like Jesus. We meet during all “big church” times: Saturdays at 5pm, Sundays at 9 and 11am for a weekend service specifically catered toward 9th and 10th grade students. Wednesday Night Fuel is from 7:00pm-9:00pm where we gather for a time of fun, authentic community, worship through music, teaching from God’s Word, and life groups! 910+ will continue to meet on Saturdays from 5:00-6:15pm. We’ve had a blast going through the books of the Bible. 910+ is for any student that wants to dive a little deeper into God’s Word as we sit, read and discuss the text.

Hey Parents!

Nineten exists to:

  • Take a deeper dive into the essentials of Church and why they are important for our life with Jesus – These include: Worship through music, Life Groups, God’s Word, Authentic Community, Mentorship, Spiritual Formation, Service Opportunities and Abundant Daily Life in Jesus.

  • Stir a hunger for God and His Word – We believe that if a student leaves 910 with a desire to know God they will continue to seek after him in 11/12 and beyond. In a two year program there is a constant influx of new students and a passing of the baton to our ministry partners in 11/12. Ninth and Tenth grade are two pivotal years of transition and it is our goal to stoke a deep desire to know God through His Word, Worship through music and authentic community.

  • Bridge the gap between JH78 and 11/12 – Junior high does such an amazing job of getting students into the Church and starting their journey of discipleship. It is our goal to preserve what JH78 began and walk students through two challenging years of their high school journey!

  • Teach the importance of mentorship and vulnerability in discipleship

  • Put Abundant Life in Jesus on display. This is done primarily in two ways:

  • 1. An incredible group of young adults that serve faithfully in 910. Our goal is to proclaim the words of Paul in 1 Corinthians 11 that say, “Follow my example as I follow the example of Christ.” By spending time around this community we believe 9th and 10th grade students will see life in Jesus on full display – so much of discipleship is not just taught but is caught by the environment around you.

  • 2. House Parties/Retreats/Camps/Life Group Nights Out/Fireside Chats– We want your student to have a TON of fun in NineTen. Every 6-8 weeks we host a “house party” in the NineTen room that is specifically themed and a whole lot of fun – These nights are a two hour extravaganza focused on fun, community and worshiping in a unique way. Past examples of house parties include Game Show Gala, Tacky Prom and The Breakfast Club. Guys/Girls retreats, Summer/Winter camp, life group nights out and fireside chats (our very own 910 tonight show) are just a few other examples of ways we want to engage with your student creatively!
